In my opinion. I ever been sing and symptom likely CFS/ME when I have a lot of work in the short time.sore Throat
ReplyDeleteenlarged lymph nodes in the armpits and neck some time
loss of memory or concentration .Although I have much more time to rest and sleep to get better.
I think ME is dealt with in Thailand .Chronic fatigue syndrome is a difficult prognosis for a doctor to come by as there is no single test so my country is supported by culture and lifestyle these sing and symptoms is not famous, well known in Thailand. More often then not a doctor will try to rule out every other possible health problem applicable before even applying thought to chronic fatigue syndrome. This does not mean you have a poor doctor, there are just so many hypothesis regarding the pathophysiology of the syndrome. Everything from oxidative stress, genetic predispotion, infection and even virus. Address the symptoms of inflammation and the condition will likely improve. Avoid an inflammatory diet by removing gluten, casein and sugar. The doctor can cure you with psychology and depression. I think the key to successfully managing ME is.I wanted to share with you a list of things you should know before going First thing I recommend is to seal the gut. This is enforced by professors a the clinical research center for mental health. Vital nutrients like glutamine can help seal the gut from leaking. Then it is advisable to repopulate the lost microbes or probiotics back into the inner ecosystem of our digestive system. The best probiotics come from living foods rather than supplements.
'Inflammation' is a heath topic I come across from time to time. How is inflammation different from infection? What is the connection between inflammation and ME?
DeleteI don't know about in this details , but I reconized about important CFS/ME from you.
DeleteIn fact, when the body have stress it releases chemical in the body that cause tissue damage, thus causing the inflammation of organs.
DeleteI think it is difficult to diagnose and manage too , so patients have to pass though many steps of classified. That makes patient give up with the symptoms.
DeleteIt difficult to detect about ME and I agree with you about in Thailand is supported by culture and lifestyle.
DeleteI don't know much about ME, CFs or even depression so I cannot dive into details as you guys. Lol.
DeleteIn my openion, if I have moderate depression helpe me to the gold, However, if there are more depression will make you sick.
DeleteIn my personal experience, I had not been deal with people suffering from ME before. I do not see the incident of this syndrome when I search the data of Thailand on a Google. However, according to Somsak Teamkao, M.D.,neurologist from Thailand. He describes that CPS is a non-specific symptom. There are many signs called syndrome including fatigue, sore throat, poor memory, lymphadenopathy, muscle pain, headache, insomnia and joint pain. The doctors may diagnosis when patient has four of eight symptoms from above. He suggests the key success factor is that the patient behave, the patient should do exercise regularly, relaxing, no stress, have positive thinking and avoid coffee. In my opinion, the patient should understand their pattern of symptom, assess themselves for balancing the activity and continue to rehabilitate toward a specific goal.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that you couldn't find much evidence of CFS in Thailand. If CFS is little known in Thailand, it would to be tough to suffer from it there, wouldn't it! Recognition of one's condition and contact with people going through the same thing as you is no doubt important to recovery!
DeleteThank you for information about CFS.
DeleteThank you for your suggestion which is an advantages for new information so that planning for this patients.
DeleteIt seems to me that fatigue is what we all have, so it is difficult to deal with.
DeleteSame as you, I've never heard about this disease before, thus I'm supposed to read and learn about it. Nevertheless, that the symptoms are not specify, it might be hard to find the medicine to cure ME patients.
DeleteI totally agree with you that patients should be informed about the symptop pattern and also the upcoming symptom so that they can prepare themselve for continually treatment.
DeleteThe challenge is how do patients understand and evaluate their symptoms?
DeleteI think so. The patients shoud know about their pattern and choose activity to recovery.
DeleteIn Thailand, sudy in patients with mental illness. Disease caused by ME, CFS is less deucation. If many sudy is a good way for officer.
DeleteI've just heard ME when I'm here. In Thailand, I think there are rarely ME patients. After I read the articles about ME, I realized ME patients might exist but they just have never diagnosed due to the complicated of the diagnosis methods.
ReplyDeleteIf there were ME patients in Thailand, the way to manage disease would be
finding method to early diagnosis, giving patients treatment plan, educating care givers about the ME.
Interesting! Yes, in some ways ME / CFS is quite nebulous. It is where you place people with debilitating tiredness in the absence of alternative diagnoses. Hopefully research will provide answers regarding its causes and cures soon.
DeleteIn my opinion giving patients treatment plan, educating care givers about the ME it very importance. Because the CFS/ME cause it difficult to diagnosis always they are cause both ,physiological and psycological. while care givers is the pofesional and knowledge for CFS /ME.
DeleteIn term of plan management in Thailand have a social support and educating care givers are importance about the ME.
DeleteIn my opinion, I think that the history of patient should be more thoroughly so that patients will receive the appropriate treatment for the disease.
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteIn the future, Medical treatment can a great treatment for this patients for decrease suffering.
DeleteCSF has never put in the important position in Thailand, that's why we never learn and understand it before.
DeleteMaybe it's because of missed diagnosis according to the myth among Thai that tiredness is normal and everyone can be tired or exhausted.
DeleteIn action of pharmacist, If "ME" happen in Thailand in many case. How do you decide to help them on your working area?
DeleteI hope in Thailand have ME clinique is the best for everyone.
DeleteIt both the adventage and the disadvantage about raly case in Thailand. The benifit is low incident in Thailand might because of a regions. The disadvantage may have patient suffering from this disease and not appropriate treatment.
DeleteI have no experience in patients with ME or CFS before but I have ever read about CFS.
ReplyDeleteI try to read some article about Chronic fatigue syndrome because of my friend.
My friend is a woman who is an anxious person. During work hard period, she told me that she was worry about everything especially her job. She could not sleep well and she always wake up with a fright after she sleep. She was easy to catch cold. One day, she told me that she had a sore throat and after she went to work, she felt nausea and dizzy and she also had hypoglycemia with 40 mg% of blood sugar level.
In that time, I don’t know what wrong with her so I tried to fine the illness that included her symptoms.
CFS, has cause and many symptoms likes her. At that moment, I think that she maybe had CFS due to stress but the doctor just told her that she felt fatigue and had low immunity due to stress.
I think that CFS is silent disease. It is difficult to diagnosis and It’s has several causes for example, viral infection and stress. Some cause can avoid ,especially stress and anxiety, thus we should protect it by changing our lifestyle behaviors.
Interesting post! Stress can no doubt lead to a variety of conditions. It makes sense then that the public is taught how to deal with stress. Doing so, might save the country a great deal in future health care expenses.
DeleteI think so.Some cause can avoid ,especially stress and anxiety, thus we should protect it with humanize care and holistic care by changing our lifestyle behaviors because nurse is the one who has been cared patient 24 hours.
Deleteprobably,In this case she may by stress syndrome.
DeleteI think so, stress and unhealthy life styles can cause many health problems in Thailand and also effect health of people worldwide. people who have illness if they have stress, they maybe cannot control their disease such as some people who have Diabetes if they have stress or anxiety, their sugar will increase in their vessel, so they cannot control their blood sugar, after that they will have more complication due to hyperglycemia. For ME, stress is one of the causes that can control, so people who have stress with or without disease should find individual methods to solve this problem such as avoiding stress situation, relaxing themselves by doing enjoy activity, finding social support when they have stress.
DeleteWow, she is a good case study for this disease. I'm impressed.
Deletewhen I read your post, I have just rebembered about my patient similar to your friend. She was a young adult suffering from pain, muscle weakness and not good sleep. Firstly, she had diagnosed with a muscle pain and taken vitamin B 1-6-12 but it is not better. Then, her family decided to use an alternative medicine by massage and spiritaul practices and she was not follow up with the doctor. It is indicate that it is difficult to deal with this diesease both patient/family and doctor.
DeleteThat you've worked at Chiangmai University Hospital which might has physicians working or being sophisticated in ME disease, You're supposed to suggest your friend to go to the such hospital.
DeleteHealth provider should be advised to prevent fatigue and observe the symptoms of fatigue, so that client observes their symptoms or may be a family member to prevent the condition.
DeleteI believe everyone had experienced stressfulness at least once in a life time. It's impossible to live without stress so I believe everyone has their own style to deal with it, but whenever it seems to be too much, it's time to see doctors. Of coures sometimes doctors couldn't help, so we have to continue our own tretment by seeking another doctors. LOl.
DeleteIt is difficult to diagnosis the symtom similar stress syndrome consequently form her work.
DeleteThank you for good excample.
DeleteThis is very interesting about your friend story. If I never had read ME or CFE before I would have defined this symptom in depressions or anxiety.
DeleteI never deal with people suffering from ME in my life.when I read sign and symptom ME then maybe I have this disease. There are many symptoms that occur to me such as headaches, disturbed sleep, muscle pain and stiffness. But all are symptom from stress too. In my opinion ME is not widely know in Thailand and I think the key to successfully managing ME is understand their life and motivated them to organize cycle and activity.
ReplyDeleteWe all feel exhausted sometimes, don't we. I guess ME can be differentiated from stress-induced exhaustion in that those who suffer from stress-induced exhaustion no doubt recover once you remove them from what is causing their stress. ME seems to stick around long after the event that causes it.
Deletein my reason role of nursing health promotion need to relief who suffer from stress, worry and hopeless it is the key to successfully managing ME is understand and improve their life and motivated them to organize ordinary daily living .
DeleteIt's a marked difficults for differential diagnosis between CFS and Stress. However this issues should be reveals to people risk.
DeleteI usually woke up in early morning too but not really suffer from fatigue. I agree that it difficult to diagnose.
DeleteI think that ME is happened by several causes and also stress. Although, there has rare case in Thailand, the multidisciplinary teams should be aware of it and begin to prevent it before this illness happening in high case. so, the multidisciplinary teams should encourage healthy people to protect themselves from ME because ME symptoms are very suffer for patients. patient should be tough about ME, How it happen and how to protect it?
DeleteI agree that it difficult to diagnose.
DeleteOh dear, pleace thake care your slfe. In the next time I will to go to travel with you in Quneestown. ^^
DeleteHahaha. I am sometimes paranoid that I've got some diseases and as a result, I am stess out and wake up during the night cosidering potential diseases I may had.
DeleteI have never had any experience with chronic fatigue. I have just studied only the nature of the disease, sign and symptoms. But I think that, nowadays people do not know that they have this condition, because the symptoms are quite similar to other types of diseases, so they may be diagnosed incorrectly. Therefore, when patients are hospitalized with such symptoms, the history should be more thoroughly so that patients will receive the appropriate treatment for the disease.
ReplyDeleteGood point! Now you know more about ME, you'll be able to watch out for potential sufferers at your hospital.
DeleteThis is a good of point for me. If doctor can correct diagnosis,it is a great for patient.
DeleteI think so,In the present people do not know that they have this condition, because the symptoms are quite similar to other types of diseases and they are effected with modern life it concern their life and human health too.
DeleteThe key symptom is fatigue, so to make patient increase more muscle to build up energy inside them self. Exercising is good way to help.
DeleteI agree with you,the symptoms are quite similar to other types of diseases, so the multidisciplinary team have to find the best methods classifying ME from other diseases.
DeleteI thank have a difficult to detect.
DeleteActually, I have never been to an experience of chronic fatigue syndrome. In my knowledge about CFS I know that is a fatigue disease, such as muscle power, muscle tone something like that. There is a rare case in Thailand. At the present I had opportunity learn to about this disease from paper which is study from my teacher. I recognize this disease make an effect to pateint’s life so much. I hope everybody will understand signs and symptoms about CFS more than the past so on.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about the huge effect ME can have on its sufferers' lives. I wonder if there are in fact a number of people suffering from undiagnosed ME in Thailand?
DeleteHealth provider should be advised to prevent fatigue and observe the symptoms of fatigue, so that client observes their symptoms or may be a family member to prevent the condition
DeleteYes, I agree that fatigue syndrome cause from dysfunction of muscles.
DeleteI have never experience with CFS patients however the fatigue symptom is familiar. Normally pharmacists will thinking of the malfunction of nerves, so vitamin B1-6-12 will be one common treatment for that. The CFS is not a big issue in Thailand, according to the cause of CFS that causing from long-term stress which is not characteristics of Thai. The appropriated solutions are gradually increase of daily activities, good mind-set and always motivate your self to be better.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to read that long-term stress is not common in Thailand. Why do you think this is the case? Could it be the warm temperatures, Thais' close family ties, their adherence to religion or some other reason? What do you think?
DeletePerhaps, supporting from family and friends are common in Thai culture.
DeleteI really agree with you. However I think this disease is a special for some region.
DeleteI have never experience with ME patients but I heard about sign and symtom when I was a student nurse.I think the key to successfully managing ME is early detect diacnosis and the patients manage activity and rehabilitation goal by multidisciplinary team.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, I think that the history of patient should be more thoroughly so that patients will receive the appropriate treatment for the disease.
DeleteHaving a multidisciplinary team helping individuals with recovery sounds like a good idea. Occupational therapists and physiotherapists for instance could both help sufferers recover.
DeleteMultidisciplinary and social support are a great answer of CFS patients.
DeleteI think so, if we have a good multidisplinaly team, it helps patients and familys a lot especially in communities. Because after patients discharge from hospitals, they will take care themself at home having mutidisplinaly team to visit it may help recovery better.
DeleteIn the recent day HHC must look after patients discharge from hospitals and take having mutidisplinaly team to visit the patient.
DeleteI've never met anyone who is suffering from ME personnally, but I've read an article about a girl who accidentally lost her muscle control. After she had been diagnosed depression, she became more passive with all aspects in her life including physical activities. Then she is developping a severe fatigue in her daily basis, she therefor cannot do her study or any careers. According to the story I read, I thing being diagnosed depression may be as heartful as being an ME sufferers because both deseases share the same impact in patients'life.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the best way to deal with ME, but I assume there are many professions in Thailand who can offer proper treatment remedies to the patients. Apart from this I think psychological support from close relatives and friends plays an important role to a successful treatment.
Agreed! Understanding and compassion from family and friends would no doubt help sufferers 'feel better' and so give them the drive to try to be more active.
DeleteI belive that psychological support from close relatives and friends plays an important role to a successful treatment is the best key. In addition psychological is the main for human management their duty.
DeleteAbsolutely,That is a great job in a topic. Relationship, empowerment and social support are effect to get well soon for CFS patients.
DeleteVery great idea, I think so.
DeleteI agree with you. One of the factor that effct to patient is stima. Having family, freind and multidisplinary team helping them a lot.
DeleteThat good idea, perfect therapies.
DeleteI am nursing intructor, I have two role, firstly nurse in th hospital and finaly, I am teacher. However, stress can not be avoided at all. For examle, headache, flatulence, boted and depress. When I have problem in this time stress such as urdent task and some study or ever had to deal with people suffering from ME I have the follwing solution: firstly, prioritize events such as any urgent work to do befor. Secondly, resting time such as travel , listen music and famlity activities etc. Finaly, enough sleep, sleeping is the best thing you can relaxing in your body and mentaly.
ReplyDeleteIn Thailand, some area in the city have a mental care departmaent for care people have a mental problem. One the other hand, their do not have deal ME, it depends on individual interests.
I think the key to successfully managing ME is self-planning, if everyone have a good planning in your life such as time work, relexes time, fimily time etc. evey body have a good life. Nevertheless, it is difficult to avoid this ME.
Introducing more planning into your life can no doubt help most people live a more 'intentional,' a more balanced and a more successful life. It must be devastating not to have the energy to do what you want to do. Health professionals and ME support groups can play the role of helping ME sufferers find ways to do what they want to do. No doubt advances are likely to be in 'small steps.' All the same, each and every improvement would, I am sure, be encouraging to the individual struggling with the condition.
DeleteGood planning to manage schedule of daily life. If can be good professional career that can reduce your stress pressure.
DeleteIn Thailand,is the mojor of the hospital they have been interested of physical ,Therefor not not enough to cure problem with psychology,In the contrast CFE/ME is the problem now a day in Thailand.
Delete
